The Resource Rows

The growing urbanization across many parts of the world requires prolific building materials with significant environmental consequences. As housing demand grows, new residential areas develop in up-and-coming areas primarily from new materials. But what happens to abandoned buildings on the fringes? The Resource Rows, a residential project created by the Danish architectural studio Lendager, approaches this asymmetry by developing a process that reuses worthless construction materials for new residential construction. The vision for The Resource Rows was to address challenges related to climate, resource scarcity, and urbanization.
