Computational Doppelgängers

Future Cities Lab explores the intertwining of physical space and objects with their computational doppelgängers: virtual double agents providing real-time feedback, informed by open databases and forming physical space. As designers, we are less interested in using computation and simulation to produce high-fidelity representations of real-world conditions. We are focused on exploring the co-production of digital-physical hybrids, that is, mixed realities with real-time networked feedback loops.
